Hello Lovelies!!

It's a new month so time to see what been loved in the month of January :)

First of all: Glitter Nails!!

My more 'neutral' look that I have been looking is teaming Essie Mademoiselle which is a soft pale pink and Barry M's Rose Quart Glitter which look really effective :)

My next favourite pairing is also another one of the products I have been loving. OPI released a James Bond collection around the celebration of 50 years of the famous 007, the 2 colours I have been loving from the collection are Skyfall (a deep plum/wine/red) and the Living Daylights (a multi coloured glitter) they look fabulous together and even look amazing on their own/with other colours and they last a good while without chipping! BONUS!!!

Next for make-up and skin care :)

Yes I caved, I love this thing!! I have always been a fan of Benefit products and when I read the reviews about this product I was itching to try it! I had this product a while but over January (and christmas) I have been using it more and I love what it does to my lashes! It makes them go POP and long and lush and I suggest if you haven't already  tried it go to your nearest shop that stocks it and try it!!

This may not seem the most exciting product but it has been a staple in my bag for the entire month, I was introduced to this by my lovely friend Laura at work when I was in desperate need for lip balm!! It really does work the best for me and I love the cherry smell :)

I have always struggled with gel liner and applying it until I got the real techniques fine liner brush for Christmas and teamed it with my maybelline gel liner. It lines easily and stays but and stays black which some liners fail to do as they tend to turn greyish and flake. I have been using this to (attempt) recreate Audrey and Marilyn make up styles :)

There have been 2 lipsticks that I have been loving this past month the first one is Crystal Baby by Este Lauder and the second is Lady Bug by MAC

I love Crystal Baby it is my go to for a nude lip and it smells AMAZING and it is a really soft and moisturising

Lady Bug is my go to red lipstick :) It suites my skin tone and I have been wearing it every time I have been going out

With this cold weather my skin has become a little dry so I decided to use a moisturiser and after using some testers from benefit I invested in the Triple Performance facial emulsion and it's potent eye cream. they hydrate my skin without leaving an oily residue :)

And Finally!!! The YSL Le Teint Touche Eclait and the real techniques expert face brush. I don't really like heavy foundations and this foundation gives me enough coverage without making my face feel 'caked'

What have been you're January favourites??

Happy New Year!!!!

Hello Lovelies!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and New Year and aren't suffering the after effects too much! I have just been thinking about my resolutions for last year and which ones I can make for this net year; The only resolution I can remember from last year was to loose weight/drop a few dress sizes and even though I am 2 dress sizes (ish like 1 and a half, you know when you are in the awkward phase where one size is a little baggy and the net is a little too tight. Especially after Christmas dinner!) away from my target I have come quite a long way. This time last year I was roughly 3/4 stone heavier and about 3/4 dress sizes bigger so to loose that and keep that off is a huge milestone for me but that doesn't mean I am stopping here! I will be smashing it at the gym again in the new year and hopefully shifting the last pounds!!

One of my first resolutions is to shift the last pounds!! Luckily I work at a gym so I have free membership there which I would like to take full advantage of this!
Resolution number 2! To blog/vlog more!! I have enjoyed blogging and vlogging and I would like to try and make a commitment to this, I would like to blog or put up a video at least twice a month (ideally when I have more time I would like to be more frequent) and definitely try to be more active on here! In keeping with this resolution I would like to do more videos that aren't vlogs, maybe some reveiw/ haul videos and maybe even a makeup video!?!

Let me know what you guys think and what are your resolutions???

Hair Inspiration

Morning Ladies!!

Finding yourself with less time than normal? Unsure what to do with your hair? (this tends to happen too often for me with work and uni!) Here are some very simple inspirations to get you going!!

Why not add a simple plait to your hair to add a little glamour to that same old ponytail or bun?

Simple but effective!

Or add a little volume!

or add a bow or ribbon!

The messy bun is probably favoured by myself and the girls at work! For some reason we nicknamed it 'Pineapple Hair'

Have a lovely day!!

Hello Lovelies!!!

Recently I have taken to burning scented candles while I study and they smell amazing!! One of my all time favourites is a candle called Fairy Dust, I originally got one from John Lewis and then more recently I found one in...Waitrose! This has been burning nest to a couple from The Country Candle Company which I found in a small shop in Longridge called Tienne, it is a lovely little shop and I recommend anyone in Longridge to pop in it is on Berry Lane I think :) My current favourites from the collection are Moroccan Blush Rose and Sweet Pea.

And now thanks to my lovely friend Lea over at It's such a wonderful life I have gotten into Yankee Candles. My favourite one of the collection so far is Soft Blanket it smells so fresh and what I love about it is that it doesn't even need to be lit to make my room smell divine!! I though I should get in the Christmas spirit and got some festive candles from their range; I am currently loving Snow in Love it reminds me of Christmas without being choked by Cinnamon! This also goes for their Christmas Eve scented candle (which I am currently burning!) and finally I got a Sugared Apple which isn't so overpowering in Apple but still has a hint of 'Christmas Smell'
