Blogging #Fail

Hello Lovelies!!

Long time no blog! I know, serious blogging fail but I have been super busy!

Since the last post I have had a trip up north, trip to Leeds, Graduation, full time hours at work and soaked up the last of the English summer!

I do apologise for the lack of blogging I have been a supper busy bee but I really hope I can get back into the swing of blogging more regularly again.

Sorry for the brief post I am now off to run some errands on my very rare day off!!

A Disney Tag!! #TheHappiestPlaceOnEarth

Hello Lovelies!

So before I start this tag which the lovely Jen over at It's A Blondes Life! did (please go check her out her blog is amazing!) I should warn you I am a Disney Freak. And I mean I am Crazy with a capital C!! I am even listening to Disney Sing-Along Songs: Disneyland Fun which my Auntie Karon had on VHS and I would watch it all the time! You can check it out here! Any other 90's babies watch these???

Anyway let's get on with this tag shall we?

1. A scene in any Disney movie you wish you could experience?
Ok let's start with a hard question shall we then??!!! Oh gosh where do I start? Well it would be nice if Prince Charming would show up and share true loves kiss and wake me (this also occurred in Once Upon A Time and I would not mind being woken by Charming!!) although I would rather not have that hag at my window...Or having my Fairy Godmother change rags to a ball gown (note: My actual Godmother is reffered to as my Fairy Godmother who would have guessed! ha) although my friend did dress as the FGM for my 21st and dressed me up as Cinderella for a Disney themed 21st! I wouldn't mind waltzing with the Beast either...wait! I would like to Alice and explore Wonderland!

Let's move on before I can think of anymore!

2. An unforgettable experience moment you've had at the Parks.
Well going on the Tower of Terror this year was so scary!! Erm, I just remember walking (probably running) up to Sleeping Beauty's Castle in Paris and being everything I dreamed it to be and going back 10 years later and it still giving me chills and making me feel like I was a little princess!

Also having Jack Sparrow and Snow White and Elvis Stitch walk right past me was incredible

3. What Non-Disney song(s) that reminds you or brings back memories of Disney and or the Parks?
Whaaaaaa???? what is this question????? I love all the Disney songs, when I went to Paris this year there was a Fairytale channel on our TV and we listened to Beauty and The Beast!

If you ask me to answer this question I am Disinclined to acquiesce to your request. It means no

4. When was the first time you went to a Disney Park?
I first went with my parents and brother in Feb 2003. I later went in 2013, you can see the blog post here! I have always wanted to go and my parents didn't tell me we were going until the night before. We had travelled down to London which was no surprise to us during the holiday's (and still isn't!) however that night we went to bed and woke up to find we were catching the train to Disneyland Paris. When I went this time we couldn't sleep it was just like the advert where everyone is too excited!

2003 - 2013

5. If you could choose any of the characters to be your best friend, who would you choose?
Hmm, this is quite difficult. Any of the Disney Princesses, oh wait!! Genie from Aladdin would be pretty darn cool!

6. Who are your favourite Disney Princesses?
How long have you got? This is not as simple as say asking me what my favourite flavour of cheesecake is! I would have to say that there is more than one! So, lets get this list rolling.....

Snow White - obviously, the first Princess I even had the outfit and wore it to death when I was younger. That film is still one of my favourites and you ask anyone to name a Disney Princess they will probably say Snow White

Cinderella - Classic fairytale, I wore my video out when I was younger and always wanted a fairy Godmother. I ended up calling my actual Godmother my Fairy Godmother

Sleeping Beauty - Aurora, another one of the classics I did say this list will get long.....

Let's just end with Rapunzel before I start listing every single one....

7. Name a scene/moment in a Disney movie that never fails to make you cry.
There is guaranteed to be at least one moment in any Disney film that will make me cry. I am just a crying machine! But Snow White being woken by Prince Charming will always choke me up!

Name a film and I bet there is a scene that makes me cry!

8. What was the first Disney movie you remember seeing?
In the Cinema? Lion King. I still vividly remember seeing the fight between Scar and Simba in the cinema, Seeing on video? I can't honestly remember I have been watching them since I was a baby!

9. What is your favourite Disney movie?
Oh Lord let me try and think.......

When I was younger it was definitely 101 Dalmatians but now it would also be Snow White, Tangled, Lion King, POTC, Oz The Great and Powerful.......can I not say all of them?!?!

10. Share a video or photo that shows you love for Disney

A photo or video? How about a few......

July is here!! #BusyBusyBusy

Hello Lovelies!

As many of you will have noticed I have been rather quiet on here! There has been lots going on the past couple of weeks!

Firstly I got my exam results and I am graduating in 2 days!! That in itself is another reason I haven't been on here, lots to do! To celebrate this I spent 3 days with Lea who is like a sister to me. I stayed in Leeds with her and we did some baking, went to an awesome ASDA (yes I really just said that!) and drank some wine! Oh and watched Eurovision, that caterpillar at the start was the best bit.

The week after I got my results I headed to the North East (Alnwick, Bambourgh) with my bestest friend and walked on beaches, through Roman Forts and saw a castle or 2......safe to say I had a wonderful time but alas I was without laptop so couldn't keep you all updated!

Here are a few pictures from the little trip!

Alnwick was the location for the first 2 Harry Potter films!

Barter Books, best second hand book shop in the world (imagine a Jeremy Clarkson voice for that!)

Tree House fun at Alnwick

Archery lesson; they also filmed Robin Hood Prince of Thieves and the 2010 film Robin Hood at Alnwick!

I obviously had a little fly around the castle on my broom!

I got one in the middle!! woooooo! Just don't look at the one right at the bottom, it was my first shot. I was a little rusty!

Wandering round the Roman Fort at Chesters

My bestest Liz, her Dad and Me on the beach in front of Bambrough castle

Barter Books

Alnwick Garden

Messing on the beach

In additition to my little breaks away work have just upped my hours due to the laying off of one of our receptionists. Let me point out that there should be between 5 and 6 in varying hours. We had 4, they got rid of 1 and another is on holiday for 2 weeks which leaves......2 of us. Should be 3 on shift a day Mon-Fri, 2 on weekend. hmmmmmm no time off for a while!!!

Anyway enough of my now somewhat long post. Hopefully I will be back soon with more exciting posts for you!!

30 Day Snap #26

Hello Lovelies!

As I mentioned in my previous post I was spending a couple of days with Lea and on day 26 we decided to do a spot of baking. First though we went to her Asda which has escalators. This excites me and it is like the TARDIS and is bigger on the inside. We decided to make rice crispy treats :)

30 Day Snap #22, 23 &24

Hello Lovelies!

Sorry I have been absent I spent a boring day 22 at work followed by an agonising day off on 23 and that is because at midnight (so technically day 24) my results for university were being published. Now, this was the big one, the determines what degree level you get kind of results and today I have spent my time at work and then dance for the second night!

My results were published and at 00:05 on the 24th June 2013 I received a Lower Second Bachelor of Science honours degree in Forensic Psychology

It is safe to say that I am relieved and my graduation date is Friday 12th July 2013 (also the day Monsters University is out in cinemas in the UK, very apt I think!)

Anyway I will be off to Leeds tomorrow till Thursday so I wont post until then!!
